I hear a lot of talk about factions and whatnot, I'm hoping that's not a thing and just some running gag or meme. Those things can be annoying (especially since I can see a bunch of idiots talking in all caps in chat about their factions being better or whatnot in big towns like Detlas and stuff where you're really only focus there if you've done all the quests in the area is to trade. It's hard to find possible buyers of your stuff as is, can you imagine if you had a buncha morons yelling "OMG MY FACTION IS BETTER" "JOIN THIS FACTION BECAUSE REASONS11one!!" on top of that?) Imo, it'd be unnecessary and doesn't really fit in the whole. lore we've known since like, forever. :/

I like the simplicity of Wynncraft with the fact you are from a place you have no memory of and are a side-quest monkey who unfortunately seems to be getting into something bigger than anyone can comprehend. I think factions would just make that more complicated honestly.

Detlas is a city a lot of people spend a lot of time in, I think making it a bigger and more interesting city is great.

What's the thing with housing? I'm new to the server, housing doesn't sound so bad

A lot of the community isn't fond of housing because it doesn't really fit the theme of the server. Wynncraft is an RPG where we wander the world, so having player plots where you can build a house may sound a bit out of place. Some people also dislike how often housing gets suggested.
