Render Getting Into Minecraft Renders

Hello my fellow Artists :)

This was my first time doing a Minecraft Render
(actually wanted to make some renders off of the wynncraft team but when I asked Naraka00 about it but found out that it isnt allowed since of course the wynncraft map has a large amount of things that would be revealed by getting acesss to the map I suppose so yeah you will just have to deal with my builds :3)

Made this one while being in a hour long call with my friend @yotamdin and he gave a few small tips that helped quite a bit. I have ~2 years of experience with Blender but little with actual Minecraft Renders so I started of slow, not much detail and with an unfinished build.
(Also sorry for my bad build skills there is literally no detail on that build XD)

Also I would highly appreciate some criticism because as I said im new to the whole Minecraft Render thing and yeah... leave your thoughts about this down below :D

Was pretty fun working on the render with you (even though you were the one working and all I did was giving you tips on discord haha)

The render came out great! Just too bad the water you made never got in the final render

 

I also really like it! Looks super cool. Criticism wise:
1) maybe make a more centralized, bright light source, the lighting is kinda the same throughout without real shadows
2) the terraforming + block palette for the island could use some work, but that comes with practice. Kinda just try to make it smoother and natural. On top maybe incorporate some plants and color, while underneath the island use a mix of gray blocks.

I am new to WorldEdit/VoxelSniper and have never really done terraforming before (propably gonna ask DaBlue for some advise too)
but yeah ill try working on that and also on my renders and again thanks for the reply :)

 

Nicee! Good to see people are still making renders on this, I used to make some ages ago, completely rusty now, keep it up! :)
