    1.8.9 > all the other versions for pvp

    so i am usually on 1.8.9 when joining wynncraft, its sad that they are removing it soon

    Guys this thread isn’t about if PvP was better or not. Vanilla PvP has no effect on Wynncraft either way.

    Now that's a debate that literally won't ever be solved so at this point you shouldn't argue. Many prefer 1.9+, many prefer 1.8. None of this affects wynncraft, make a thread on the Minecraft section or something

    Scratch my original comment, I think I figured out what Salted's referring to:

    Dual Wielding.

    Think about all the stuff added in 1.9 onwards. New blocks, mobs, items; those all aren't needed for Wynncraft because it creates its own textures, and now mob models. New minecraft mechanics aren't needed either. But holding two items at once is impossible (I'm pretty sure) in 1.8, so I feel like dual wielding will play a role in a next update.
