in the previous patch of 1.17, we had an item renamed because it was a sensitive topic.


but guess who’s back with this patch, and who’s back more powerful than ever:

with absolutely no downsides to defense and second highest health helmet in the game (behind heroism), this is probably one of the strongest helmets for the endgame, and it could serve as a powerful tank helmet.

THE ZODIAC IS COMPLETE ONCE AGAIN!

 

While I understand the controversy around this helmet, it’s a block game. Plus it is part of the Zodiac and obviously isn’t meant to have any correlation to the disease.

The main problem with it wasn’t just the name, the item was themed around the disease, not the zodiac thing. Which, besides being offensive to some people, also didn’t really make sense.

 

it was pretty funny though

my sense of humor is garbage tbf

 

My gess is that it won't take long before the 'pure cancer' builds are made once again

The CT doesn't deserve all the blame

Just some douche complaining about an item name adding extra work to the CT

What defensive builds do you think this would go great with?

 

Cancer went from something that kills to something that heals, interesting.

For the next two years whenever someone shouts "buying Cancer" I'll probably think they're referring to Necrosis though.

 

Why didn't they just add lore to the item, explaining it doesn't have anything to do with the disease? Cancer is the only zodiac item without lore.

Who’s idea was it to make it based around the disease? I’m not offended (because it’s a block game) but I could see why the controversy exists now.

 

No idea lol. But that doesn't matter, it's all fixed now.

I just hope people stop making a big deal out of the name change now, I'm also referring to the people who were against the name change in this case.
