That’s only for armor, which they already say which skill point requirements are being changed weeks ahead a time.

 

I just keep having this feeling that this update might have the main storyline. All those talks of the update being game changing and that a new class is recommended to start just keeps pointing in that direction. We have also had the quest book remake and new ways to create quests in the last two updates.

But at the same time I'm also kinda doubtful since Dern isn't out yet. However, the main storyline was originally planned to release alongside Gavel without Dern, but Grian has also said around a year ago that it will likely change from it's original format. I don't know. Maybe, or maybe not. Only time will tell.

I think you might be onto something here. One of the admins mentioned that they want to add something that's been a concept since Wynncraft began, and a main storyline probably fits that. Not to mention that lore seems to be more present in-game now.

But this brings up another question: remember how jpresent mentioned how the amount of gameplay hours will increase to 2500-3000 hours? How would a main storyline do that, after all, something like that would lead to 20hrs per class at most. I still have no clue what would lead to that much gameplay time. Needless to say, there's probably some pretty big stuff coming this update that's barely been teased.

 

Okay, the increase in the amount of hours will be either multiplayer content (PvP fix pls I’m starving) or RNG ( >:V )

I just realized that this update will probably take as long as Gavel.... and that felt much longer somehow.

 

You forgot the "Sometime after 2018"

 

I really don't see that happening. We wouldn't be at 1 emerald right now if it comes out in 2019.

 

Seriously though - 2500 hours is a *long* time. I'm baffled as to how they're extending playtime by that much.

I've played through portal 2 3 times and regularly play co-op and I'm still on 150 hours.
