Music Aviex Xerex (wynncraft Fan Song)

I'm posting another song. It's significantly shorter, and perhaps too repetitive.

Also open for criticism. I got a lot of good feedback, and while I didn't use a lot of it for this song (I actually made parts of this song before Greed besets Poverty) I did use what I could. Hopefully it's better, or at least bad in a different way.

 

I liked the first part, then I feel like it goes way too fast and all over the place. I think the slow parts are pretty good and set the mood quite nicely though!

now, for my personal criticisms

The main melody is good overall. I just think that it's a bit sporadic. The melody creates and break expectations randomly. I believe that this song could use some tension and resolution. It would create a more natural flow in my opinion.

I also think the transitions into sections with no drums don't signal it too well. Abrupt changes like these, I believe, would flow more naturally if it was indicated by a change in the music to warn the listener that a big change is coming up instead of just the section ending.

Seems both of you are saying that I need to improve my transitions. Thanks for your notes, I'll try to do that in my next piece.

As for Corpe's first criticism, yeah, I don't really know how to write a melody. So I'll also take that into account.
