Hypixel Is Just A Pvp Fest

Hypixel has turned from making original gamemodes to making left clicking simulators (pvp) and calling it a game. Here are some examples:

The Pit: a game where you jump in and left click until you die. The more you left click the more perks you get so you left click harder. Pretty much the basis of this grindy shit of a game.

The Bridge: rush while left clicking to try jump in their egg hole. The bridge is 1 block wide btw so either camp or rush. Or just rush. Almost zero strategy.

King of the hill: Try to left click to stay on the shitty capture point. You win if you stay on the platform longer and earn more points.

Bedwars: rush, get some op mobility items (epearls for example) and win. Nice. (Still 10x better then the first three though)

Vanilla skywars: one of the better games actually but still rush and left click to win. On the level of bedwars.

See how pvp doesn't just make a game good? I like games that have unique aspects to them, unlike these 5. This is why I love Wynncraft, a unique, original gamemode that isn't just pvp. Pvp does not equal good game, it just equals unoriginal and shit.

On top of pvp just sucking in general, everyone who takes it seriously is a total toxic ass who doesn't understand this is a video game and it's for fun, there's more to it than just out-left clicking someone

 

Yeah, I used to be a pvp tryhard who actually played these god awful games and I got burned out. Vanilla pvp is not fun and you need unique twists to the formula. This is primarily why I like lucky block skywarss it's a lot of fun with friends by having all these epic moments where you kill some full diamond with a kb shovel. It's not just pvp, it's actual fun.

I miss when Hypixel came out with cool stuff like Warlords and Turbo Kart Racers. They had everything going for them and their cool creations made them deserve their popularity in my opinion. Now everything seems so soulless. Do they not bother after Bedwars led to so much success? It feels like they've barely made any interesting gamemodes this year. It's all some boring take on PvP, which I hate. I'm not going to play on a server that's primarily basic Minecraft PvP, there are so many games with better combat systems that deserve more of my time.

 

I absolutely loved Smash Heroes and played the shit out of it! I was so happy when I bought Karakot (or whatever the saiyan dude name is)

I also still find Skywars super fun from times to times, it's a blast with friends. Some people just do things that don't make any sense, or you can watch someone miserably fail his TNT cannon, and that's hilarious, hands down best part about skywars
I didn't play a ton of hypixel's bedwars (I was more of a cubecraft eggwars guy, 1.9+ pvp ftw), but I had fun playing it for the same reasons as Skywars. It was just a bit more frustrating to go against absolute pros
The pit... I didn't even understand why it was so popular at first, but you can compare it as a clicker game. People like it for the same reason people like cookie clicker: it can be addicting
King of the hill's kinda cool but really bland, there's not much strategy, but if you want the better version play Capture Kings (it's a vanilla map, I helped, shameless advertisement)
The bridge stole our map and we should sue Hypixel!!! (it's not the same thing, but it's pretty similar tbh). I still find that to be the funnier gamemode they added, but if you play it competitively it's so not fun. It's just really fast paced and exciting

This problem seems to touch a lot of minigames servers and not only Hypixel. Looks like people are going for the good old "quantity over quality"
