I really like it. It's off-beat sometimes though... oh yeah... and the chords from 0:48-0:57 Don't sound sooooo good.

    I still like it.

oh yeah... I would suggest using other instruments too.

Feedback time uwu! Like the person above me said, some parts are off-beat and some notes sound off tune, the transition between 0:37 and 0:40 don't quite fit, it doesn't have any build up so it feels random. The piece also feels like it has not structure and I also think that there are too many variations in this composition, everything feels like it should be their own piece rather than taking bits out of all of them and shoving it into one piece. Also, like I say to most people, dynamics are really important. It's something that most people over look. Forgive me for saying this, but I think you should start with shorter, ~1.5 min compositions, before going onto something big like this. For example, try to do remixes of the original wynncraft tunes, it will be much easier and it will help you improve and give you more experience. Thank you for reading and I hope this reply helps uwu.

Listening to this makes me think of some sort of remix/medley of different classic wynn songs tbh. (at least only the beginning, then I feel like it goes a bit everywhere)
    Examples:
    From 0:00 to 0:15
    At 1:39

I think it's pretty okay, especially at the start where it's simple and nice, then it just goes all over the place and doesn't seem to have an own "theme" (idk if that makes sense, I'm no composer)

Seems like something that would play if they were to add a reference to current (soon to be old) Detlas...

Some further information about this piece I forgot to mention: this is referencing the third christmas quest, so I added detlas and ragni stuff. That's it, thanks for all the criticism so far. I'll reply to it later.

I've just gotta say, this is a very, very flawed piece of music. A lot of the chords aren't even proper chords and they're often not in the right key (A major? F# minor?). You're using Cs and even the entire C major chord where they shouldn't be and the chords just feel like they're a random collection of notes. There are also some intervals that just don't work: on 1:12 there's a dissonant for no apparent reason and I'm pretty sure there are more scattered throughout the piece. Since the melody is largely borrowed and doesn't have any real undeniable problems I'm not going to go into it, but that doesn't mean I like it.

Smaller compositions? Okay, maybe I'll do that. Maybe I won't. Good advice regardless.

Thanks, I guess, I'll try to make a more solid theme next time.

What do you mean by the right key? I was trying to change that up throughout the piece. Also, I was trying to be "edgy..." but that obviously failed. Other than those minor details, I highly appreciate your criticism and will try to take as much of it into account as applicable, even though I thought it was harsh (it isn't lol).

Right now your composition is in F# minor (I mistakenly said F minor in my original post). That means you use this scale (three sharp notes):
Your melody stays consistent in that regard, but you can't just change C# to C in your chord progression. That's what I mean by "not in the right key". C# is the V chord too so to get that one be in a different key can really screw up your piece. Edginess doesn't really fit with the Christmas theme, but ok. That doesn't mean you should have these dissonant intervals without context. Right now you just have a couple of dissonant intervals lying out there in the open. This doesn't work. A dissonant on its own is always ugly. A dissonant needs to be resolved, not just left to rot.

Just throwing in an edit here.

I've also noticed you using the F#dim chord (F# A C) with a D playing over it so you have a C and a D playing simultaneously which doesn't sound to great in the first place, but you're also using the F#dim chord quite independently. Please don't, diminished chords should lead into another chord, not stand on their own.

Well, what I meant by edginess was that the piece is about the greediness of the Christmas feast guests and how it has a bad effect on the people of Ragni. I tried playing the dissonant chords over the Ragni melody to emphasize that, but I guess it didn't work.

Thanks for the help, though. I'll be more careful with dissonant in the future.
