For the meteor part, only 3 people are needed. Just remember that the yellow meteor is broken and will not TP to start the quest. The blue and red meteor will TP the players to start the quest. So, either get someone who has done the quest go to the yellow or rotate after some players have started the quest so that everyone starts the quest. The third and fourth puzzles at the Lab require 4 people. After the second puzzle, grab the feathers so that you can exit and restart when you have 4 players.

Edit: On the blue meteor, just start with the invisible pulsating red stairs. You do not have to do the moving of the hay bales.
