Killstreak Stacks! (proof/ Experiment Inside)

tl;dr ✦ Killstreak powder special stacks on multiple pieces of armor. This means having multiple pieces does work and will increase your damage per piece.

Through a brief experiment, I've been able to conclude that killstreak does consistently stack across multiple pieces of armor.

The experiment is performed as such:

Using the weapon Polar Star, due to it's damage range, all attacks or spells will hit for consistently the same damage (with it being amped for a crit). This means you realistically only have 2 values that you can keep track of; a normal attack, and a crit.



To test killstreak stacking, I did the following;

I put killstreak on two pieces of normal armor with no IDs (as to not mess around with changing damages and whatnot).

I then shot a villager to test the base damage without killstreak; I hit ✦156 for a non crit and ✦256 on a crit.

I then put on one piece of the killstreak armor, killed a bandit roaming around, and shot the villager again. ✦159 for a non crit, ✦259 for a crit.

I waited for the killstreak to reset, then put on my other piece of killstreak gear.

Killed another bandit, then hit the villager for ✦162 for a non crit, ✦262 for a crit, indicating that multiple pieces of killstreak armor does increase damage.

I repeated this experiment 3 seperate times, yielding the same results.

In conclusion, killstreak is shown to be able to stack with multiple pieces of armor.

Now we need to know one more thing about it ; Does kill streak damage upgrade endless if you keep killing mobs?

Yep, think this can be done with other specials too. We would just need to find a weapon that can be used for this.
