Oh you're sooo fucking wrong.

The "purpose is to allow for better protection of copyrighted works" is total fucking bullshit. You kow who this law will benefit? Huge music and film creators that don't need to worry about money or publication. Every other small content creator will get shafted. Anything that seems to "copy" something used by a big music or film company, will get removed.

So, no, this law isn't for the benefit of the content creators.
