Building Mentorship!

Alright, so I've always been a builder on Minecraft (I'm even an architect in real life), however, I want to get better. Through playing Wynncraft I've noticed that you builder guys (and gals) have so many crazy techniques and I want to learn them.

So I guess, dear Wynncraft builders and even Grian himself, would any of you be willing to mentor me and show me your ways?

I'm constantly astounding by the complexity and detailedness of your builds and want to learn more.
I'm not a horrible builder in Minecraft, but I have ways to go, so I'm hoping that someone can show me some magical recipes to Wynncraft tier building!

I have, however, build school doesn't do much for me. I know the basics and the ins and outs. What he doesn't show is the immaculate detailing in their terrain gen, cave shaping, area detailing. There's so much he hasn't/can't cover in a video.

Watch some advanced building and plugin tutorials, those do help. Have a sense of shape, color, and style. You being an irl architect, you should be familiar with (mostly modern) styles and techniques but train yourself to build in medieval, victorian, baroque etc (mostly Wynn style).

Start from the bottom by constructing and detailing small houses, both exterior and intetior. Once you get a foothold move on to bigger builds that can range from villages to galleons to ruins to temples. For terrain its important to have a plan, and the plan should be suitable for an average player’s gameplay. The block gradient should go along with the theme for your cave, with appropriate decoration.

You don’t always have to be good at everything - if you find yourself a doyen at structures, master that. If you’re proficient at terraining, cultivate that skill. It is hard to explain detailing because everybody’s style differs and you have to find your own.

Anyways back on topic, why not just try to join the build team and see if you're good enough to work with them directly?
