A Tribute To Minecraft

I did not make this video, I just found it and wanted to see your opinions on it. It's really reminded me I suppose on why I joined Mc in 2013.... and how for the game has come, and changed from there....
This was a huge nostalgia hitter for me, especially since I accidentally deleted all of my old worlds, and now my singleplayer folder is literally empty. I'm probably gonna go play some more singleplayer..

I enjoy the game for the creation aspect. I never really got into the mods or the letsplays. But the fact that people can do amazing things with the same set of tools is amazing. I hated 1.9 not because it made combat require skill and timing. Wynncraft is a perfect example of this. Ignoring the texture pack, combat plugins, etc. The map and the story it tells using nothing but blocks and blocky NPCs is just amazing. and it was all made in a single game. Hypixel is another example. The fact that one can make a million different unique gamemodes from blocks and a few commands.

And the creations and maps people have done with only a selection of 160 or so different blocks speak for themselves.

 

I really do gotta agree with you. The potential with MC is insane.... and to be fair, although the original vanilla MC survival is sort of ass in my opinion, it's still fun for being nostalgic, I remember when I loaded my old world and thinking, wow jesus christ I was ass back then.....

The music as well. I've muted it for like 4 years, and am now just realizing how nice it just is.
