Bows To Use Vs. Bob

I have Wolf Bow and Full Charge, which are the two I'm mainly debating between. I'd rather not use Redbeard's Hand Cannon, unless someone knows a way to easily find Galleon's Graveyard Key Guardians. Any others that would work well?

 

Im gonna be honest Wolf Bow and Full Charge are both absolutely terrible. Your best bet would to get Maelstrom, if you can't find one on your own you can buy one in the trade market forum

 

It really depends on your level, but out of the 2 you have I would say Full charge is better, but both of them are really bad. I suggest you get a legendary bow like Maelstrom. Or you just find a player to help you with the boss (though it requires you to do some damage in order to get the drop).

 

Imo Corrupted Witherhead's bow does a better job of fighting Bob then Maelstrom due to it focusing on a single element meaning it'll penetrate easier (assuming you powder it anyways) However, maelstrom could be debated as better since it could dispatch the minions easier since 3 of them have weakness to one of maelstroms elements at the very least (and maelstrom is typically easier to get than cwb). Either way both bows you have right now suck so your best bet is probably maelstrom
Just because Bob has elemental resistance to everything doesn't mean he's completely immune to it btw, you just need enough penetration to damage him with elements

 

I take it Bob's elemental defense has been nerfed? I believe it used to be that he was nearly immune to most elemental damages.

I'm pretty sure I do have a Maelstrom sitting around, although I'm most of the way toward getting Corrupted Witherhead's Bow anyway.

I guess that's what comes of returning after a few years, most of my knowledge is outdated.
