Best Wand For A Level 94 Mage???

Looking for the best wands for my level, cause theres too many and im freaking out because of all the stats!

 

It's very wholly dependent on what build you're utilizing and what you'd like to have in a weapon. What are your skill points?

 

Ive been using ethereal for a long time and would like to stick with the fast attack and high intelligence, but my build rn is:
25 in dexterity and strength
60 in intelligence
35 in defense
51 in aglility
I also have the legendary wands Phoenix wing, Nepta Floodbringer, and MorrowWind

 

Nepta Floodbringer is pretty good, but you'll need to put in like 100 points into intelligence

 

110 so I think thats a bit too much into intelligence

 

nepta, judas and lunar spine are all sweet choices but you need to play pretty differently depending which you choose
nepta is really basic and thus easy to use, as well as pretty much the strongest of the three, tho youll need to get a really proper build to use it well at the level
judas gets comparable damage to nepta and it's cheaper to get as it's a merchant item. thing is you cant get curse on it (edit: well you can but it will suck ass) like you would on nepta which drops the damage quite notably
lunar spine is fucking cool

or you can be a cool dude and use voidlight

 

what about the phoenix wing? because I use meteor a bit with ice snake and the negative water damage doesnt sit too well with me

 

phoenix wing is a support wand so it does fuck-all damage and it's not the best at healing either
never phoenix wing

 

Given your skill spread, it doesn't seem like you've got a very cohesive build. I'd suggest picking 2-3 elements and sticking with them; it sounds like you enjoy fire, air, and water the most, so I would suggest trying Nepta Floodbringer and Morrowind.

wait for 96 and get a morrowind, those are like the generic wand everyone has at 96

lunar spine, much like warp and stinger, requires a very weird and strange playstyle, but is extremely powerful when used correctly. basically, you melee once or twice, and use the mana stolen to cast meteors. rinse and repeat, and when you’re low, heal. at least that’s what I hear, idk how it’s meant to really be played.

Anyway, Nepta Floodbriger is one of the best and simplest choises.

you're an absolute buffoon have you ever used lunar spine with a good build? based on what you just posted seems not. ok well let me just give you a real quick educate, lunar spine is fucking good. a wand that offers a sufficient amount of mana no matter the build it's in, reaches average meteors and can even be used with taurus for big fat chains. "oh nonnoo but -ls" youre fucking mage do you know what spells mage has oh looks like one of thems called Heal wonder what that might do. of all the things ive seen posted on these forums what you posted here has been the most ignorant and insulting to the build making culture. try using items before forming an incorrect opinion on them, you fool

 

Actually I have this "wand" and it is utter trash. You have no ability to use spells if you are not in fight. You can cast a decent meteor and ice snake once in about 5-10 seconds. -Health regen is also fun while you slowly lose health without ability to heal and deal dmg at the same time in fight. The point of mage is that he is not really for dealing dmg because other classes have much higher DPS potential. Try healing your team in LI with Lunar Spine or freezing a boss. Lunar Spine has shitty dmg output anyway. Get literally any other rare/legendary wand around 90 lvl and you will get higher DPS.

 

nibba youre completely misusing the wand

so have a secondary or just dont hold it out of combat

with a single mana whack you get full mana, and theres enough time between mr ticks to cast about 3-4 meteors + whatever else you need like snakes and heals

but you can do both of these

lunar can reach 10-11k avg meteors, and as said before can use taurus for big fat melees

 

level to 96 and get a lameme

 

Just get sage (or wybel ivory wand) for xp bonus and go csst my boi !
