when are swarms coming back? It’ll be sooo fun to have since it emphasizes the wynncraft storyline and the fact that gavel and wynn r both suffering from decay and corruption respectively and corkus with its rogue factory and despermechs. When will it come back? Next update?

 

Wynn's servers can't handle the immense load caused by swarms, which means they aren't coming back, at least in their formerly known state. Also, what do swarms have to do with the storyline?

Corruption and decay are 2 completely different things.

 

I mean id never been in a swarm and ive only seen a couple sketchy vids about them but seems to me theyre pretty much the same as guild wars from a technical standpoint so i dont see why it cant work in the same way :/

 

Maybe make it a very unique event at a special server?

 

Swarms hsd nothing to do with lore, since lore back then was close to nothing compared to what we have now. They also caused immense lag, often leading to server crashes and world restarts before it even started. Additionally it quickly turned into simply camping spawnpoints and nothing else.

And people literally just did swarms for xp. There's really no point now since CSST exists.
