How To Beat Corrupter Of Worlds Solo (archer)

I'm rather surprised that I managed it at level 68, even if it was mostly by abusing knockback spells and Escape walk speed. Since I'm really bored right now, I'll post my setup here. Feel free to comment on the horribleness of my build or whatever; it's my first playthrough since Gavel and first above level 50ish ever.

I used a rainbow build - Infinity with T4 fires, Millenium, Kratke, and (for some reason) Bad Wolf. I actually wore Helmet of the Legends during the fight, because my previous helmet was getting a little old... (Shinespark, Level 47), and the raw melee damage helped a lot. Accessories - Morph-Amethyst and Morph-Ruby for the set bonus, particularly the rainbow damages. I used Rockworm, for some reason, and Druid Ring, which I got on my last Dernel lootrun before the fight and used temporarily in place of my everyday ring Glitz.

I brought 5 health pots, of which I only used half, and 2 mana pots, which I used up way too early. I also brought a few skill pots (specifically, one each of level 65 Strength and Intelligence), which I got while lootrunning (Dernel is great).

My strategy was basically just alternating melee/Arrow Bomb (to deal with the minions) as CoW approached with Arrow Storm to push him back occasionally - this plus the Int pot meant I never actually ran down my mana unless I messed up. I did slip up and get caught a few times without mana, in which case I just spammed health pots until I could Arrow Shield.

Anyways, congrats on beating it solo, especially at the level of the quest! Much better than I could’ve ever done *flashback to dying a ton of times*

For the build, I’m pretty sure Helmet of Legends was mandatory to use during the fight anyways, so it wouldn’t matter whether you wanted to use a different one. The rest of the build looks great, although I am really bad at making/understanding builds, so don’t trust my opinion too much.

How to solo CoW:
1. Find a weapon with powder slots on it
2. Place air powder in those slots
3. Stunlock CoW (as assassin, multihit, as archer, arrow bomb/ shield as mage ice snake as warrior uppercut )
4. Watch CoW get annihalated.

 

After seeing like 10 posts on how to solo CoW, or crying how CoW is OP I am honestly surprised that I just walked in there, no pots, and just rolled over him on lvl 68

 

This is the first time I've seen a good use for the air weapon special.

Also - is it just me or is ToA really hard? I just barely scraped by floor 3 recently by sitting in a corner and meleeing Witch Doctor out of aggro range (ran out of health pots on the regular floors rip).

I soloed as an archer (At lvl 68) with a lvl 44-57 speed build, I didn't realize CoW was supposed to be hard

 

old people will know this but it used to be even easier
there used to be an arch that you could get up to and then you would spell spam cow to death
but then they removed that but you could still camp on select bushes
but then the arena got a giant overhaul and also push and pull spells were added
but regardless it's easy with any ranged air weapon
I find duoing it way easier as stunlocking isn't as hard as doing it solo

 

How to beat CoW solo in a nutshell (Somebody please go find how many times I've said this now)
Archer: Literally anything besides letting him hit you
Assassin: Spin attack stunlocking yeet
Warrior: Big boi natural defense
Mage: Ice snake exists
