Class Bias?

Back in the old days, chests used to give you more of the type of weapon which suit your class.
When you did a lootrun with an Archer, you got tons and tons of bows, some spears, some wands and some daggers.

But now, as I run with an archer, I am spammed with tons and tons of Sitis, some spears, wands and almost no bows.

Did they remove that bias from the game?

When I lootrun, I still get more weapons of my class, so maybe you just got unlucky.

Although Sitis is known to be extremely common, so that’s not unusual.

And being unlucky doesnt explain that in 4400 chests :)#
I am at 20100 chests now, and started realising that problem at around 16000.

 

I haven’t gone lootrunning in a few days, so I could be wrong. I’ll try lootrunning again when I can get online

 

The main problem becomes more visible if you count the legendaries.
In the last 4400 chests, I found ~20 legendary bows, 100 daggers, 30 spears, and 40 wands. Thats not 100% accurate, but gives a good insight in what the problem is.

 

I believe there is something causing legendary level 96-100 daggers (most often Sitis) to appear ridiculously often

 

still doesnt explain why in 4.4k chests I find 3 clusters, while finding dozens and dozens of armour and other weapons.

 

Because statistically, the chances of finding every item apart from a cluster are a lot higher than the chance of finding a cluster

 

I know how probability works. I am complaining about finding 3 clusters in 4k chests while finding 5 vawards, or 10 cascades, or 15 of this and 20 of that.
I know that you have a higher chance to find everything apart from cluster, but thats not the problem. If you narrow it down to one specific item like Rekkr, it becomes clear that something is off when I find 20 of those while finding 3 Clusters, when it's used to be vise versa.

rekkr only comes from t3/4 chests

from a t3/4 chest, it's more likely for an item like rekkr (which only appears in these higher tier chests) to appear than hetusol and gravity (which come from any source). i don't know the probability, but it wouldn't surprise me if cluster, hetusol, gravity, black etc have 0% drop chnce from t3/4 loot chests.

so, you will only get something like cluster (which comes from "any source") from either mobs or t1/2 chests.

if you're using somewhere like lusuco or corkus for loot runs, where there are a TON of t3/4 chests, you'll end up with tons of sitis, rekkr, etc

 

It's not a 0% chance since I have gotten all of these from a t3/t4 chest at some point before but yeah loot exclusive gear appears much more often than non loot exclusive gear in t3/t4 loot chests

 

Who the fuck (sorry for the language) made it so that some legendaries have higher chance of loot than the others. Because now, thanks to that, that class bias is pretty much non-existent. You'll have to loot T1 and T2 chests in order to find a mythic for your class, which makes it all the more unlikely for you to find a mythic. Just yesterday I looted a warchief uwu

Imo they should reconsider the old looting system, because now, with people finding more warchiefs than dust beneath their bed, its just ludicrous.
