Fancy Beach Resort Spawn | Epic Terraforming

Who doesn't like going to the beach!! am I right Lads, When you live in Australia, going to the beach is a massive part of your life, you go there to surf, swim and have fun with friends, while trying not get killed by a blue ringed octopus or box jelly fish. Generally speaking a crap ton of fun but now its the middle of winter. The water is FREEZING cold

SO instead of waiting for summer I have built this Mine craft beach where i can hang out with my friends (if I had any) ;-;

I am gonna try and render this?!?!

Anyone know any good render artists?

The mushroom blocks don't rly mix well with the sandstone and overall a bad sand palette since they clash too much. The water us super flat with just 1 layer of water which just screams 'i don't care about the details or quality of this build so I'm going to rush the water. Drain it, add depth to the ocean around it then add the water back in. Your terrain palette is noisy and messy, and while it's a bit creative with the birch logs, combined with the weird lighting settings the Cliffside look like static tbhimo. Since there's only 4 pics I can't totally judge so I'll hop on Builders refuge with /plot visit for some more in depth looks


Edit: it's not end stone it's actually sand soz still looks terrible tho

 

Amazing, would offer criticism, but I can’t find anything wrong with it (except maybe the second screenshot, the building looks odd because of the diagonal)

Ehh well a. Qulaey seems to love BR plus I can see that the server uses FAWE rather than normal worldedit and BR uses FAWE

No, im pretty sure they use normal worldedit seeing as there's zero worldedit related lag from my hours of extensive WE/VS usage, and the normal worldedit plugin does have a bit of lag and FAWE removes it. It's possible my server uses an out of date version but i highly doubt it.

First off please chill out xD. Secondly, BR is powered by blockworks, they have like full on liquid cooled super fast amazing servers, thats why you cant sense the lag.

I've looked at your build, its poorly done and kinda rushed, maybe mask your colors better next time? Also if you build on BR consider a visit to /warp crazycolorcuboid built by mateo007, a very good buddy of mine and work on that horrendous water gradient, There are so many areas that need improvement on this build ,I am really not bothered to mention it all in this thread, cus that will just make you angrier ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. If you want help I will gladly lend a hand!

Lol, I don't think im good because im in build teams, I think im good because I am able to actually get above my own ego and accept criticisms from others, learn from my mistakes, and as such I have grown both as a builder and as a person. I mentioned them because I Wasn't sure how to best express what my point. Also, you think that just because a team is small, they can't have standards? They can't be picky about the skill level of people in them? They can't be good? Look at valley-based build, by me, ZukkoM (and his friend VainImp not sure if he has a forums account), Meric, and Ethilion. That's one team I was in. So, in that build, you think that it was bad just because it was 4-5 people working on it? Feel free to criticize it however you like, but judging it by the amount of people wh made it is comically irrelevant. lol thats not it I used to work as a builder for pixelverse (pixelmon server not sure if its out yet) but then left for multiple reasons, which the owners invested thousands into. They could've picked or commissioned or paid any builder, and I reached out and got the position.

What which build? yours? I assume it was my terrain in the yum yum likes thread since you replied to this, but since when was this about my building skill? This was me, who simply gave a bit of feedback that hurt your feelings a bit, so you tried to discredit and invalidate me in whatever way you wanted, so you insulted me and my skill directly instead of fucking taking it or at least pretending to. ArxCitadel on hypixel took criticism better than this. Thats saying something.

Essentially, I gave you criticisms and opinions on your build, you were offended for some reason, you then try to discredit me because your feelings were hurt. This was supposed to be about me giving an opinion and instead of taking it well, you freaked and lashed out.

No, I want your criticisms. Leave it on whatever thread I posted the build you're talking about instead of this one to keep it from getting more offtrack. And maybe, instead of trying to discredit you and picking apart something as tiny and irrelevant as my usage of cursing or literally anything other than my actual points god forbid, Maybe instead I would take it.

I personally don't like it. I pointed out as a small thing, that wouldn't matter too much. Then, my actual problem was when you totally denied it and flat out lied.

Can you elaborate on messy? I think terrain looks alright, I used a coloring symplex to achieve this look, I highlighted the steep parts and acturlly hand colored it instead of doing //set (random entre random jumble of blocks) Which i think looks pretty meh. Its definitively a step up...

Why is this not one of the islands in Wynncraft ?

 

Welp its hard to explain, you see Wynncraft uses bungy cord, so its hard to get some of the plugins such as gopaint, and world edit simplexes to work across versions also because they use this weird texturepack, color gradients NEVER work/ like At all! so yeah. When I build on the wynnn build server I acturally strugle to terraform because of the new textures.
