i made this logo for fun and it actually turned out okay! any suggestions on how i can improve it?

 

Idk, maybe instead of it saying just "Dern", mayhaps "Road to Dern"? Thats not even something that it really needs, good job.

I personally find the shape way too distracting for a logo, but that's just my opinion. On top of that it's purple text on black, which really doesn't help make it very recognisable.

This is truly amazing. The dark Side could use this logo . But I think a slightly lighter shade of purple is better .The whole logo is too dark

thanks! i made it darker since it is supposed to be a dark place, i’ll try editing it and seeing if it looks better in a lighter color

Finally a logo that isn't just the copy of the original one with colors changed

 

Eh. Looks cool. However it uses Wynncraft's old logo style which is pretty much outdated.

also, "A far off plane of existence" isn't really what dern is. You're thinking of the Realm of Shadow.

i think the purple tone could be a bit lighter, as it is surrounded by a black marker
i did lso say the outer borders are a bit too thick, but thats just my opinion

Am I the only one who actually translated it from wynnic to english? The wynnic letters say "a far off place of darkness"

 

I'd make the stone look more weared down, by that i mean maybe add some cracks to make it look old/ancient.

As for suggestions, I would do a different color combo thats a little easier to see, but other than that, no complaints. Its fantastic! :D

That’s just it tho. From what we have seen so far the shape of this perfectly fits the theme of dern. Also, this is great work I wouldn’t be surprised if the devs asked if the could use it. It looks official!
