This is my Fatal build that I've come up with after browsing WynnData and looking at items.

    https://wynndata.tk/s/Ir2QDU

I'd say it's decent, but then again I don't have much experience with the weapon Fatal itself. Nor have I actually ever used the item.

That said, I was going for a spellspam thunder build that can take advantage of the huge meters this thing can put out., without going for a meme glass cannon build.

The damage is pretty good, with 14k meteors average, and 9/4 mr (and 7/4 ms), and its reasonably healthy with 9.7k hp and no huge negative defenses (tho the elemental defenses just happened to turn out nice, I didn't build around that.)

The one downside is that it's super sp tight. 11 sp to spare with max IDs. However, it's not as bad as it looks. 4 of the items are merchant items (anima-infused, trench scourer, sine, diamond hydro neck), so you're guaranteed max sp on those. This only leaves the 2x Finesse and Ariodo's Dial (bracelet). Since neither of these are super rare items, it should be relatively easy to get decent rolls.

As a side note, if you go get super good sp rolls, its possible to drop the second Finesse for a Gloomstone for more damage.

It also has 0 agility and low defense, but it is a more damage focused build. Nonetheless, it is a more "squishy" than I would like.

The melee dmg is rather lacking, but this is a mostly spell based build and you'll just use melee to stack the powder special most of the time. (if anyone can fix or improve this go ahead, but I don't think its too much of a problem)

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with myself and this build, tho if anyone else has item suggestions to swap out feel free to try to change the build and improve it. I'm definitely open to seeing fixes and suggestions.

You can swap 1 finesse for a mr/dmg/def ring since it's easy to get good ones and the build only has the rings and bracelet as non fixed sp items
I'd recommend something that gives a bit more hp or mr
(btw not rlly fan of aquarius but build seems ok)

    simple and good
thing about fatal's powdering is it's much better to use curse instead of chain. since chain damage is based on a normal melee hit's damage, it doesnt do shit at fast attack speeds, while curse is always a solid 210% damage boost. so even though using water powders looks like it lower the overall spell damage, it's actually the opposite in reality

    heres my alternative
tankiness has been considerably buffed, and the average meteor is slightly higher (if both builds use the same powders)
it's 8 merchant items so no sp tightness here

now what u might be wondering about is the pathetic looking mana regen. 5.
well im here to tell u about my god: spell cycles
since you have 5 natural mana regen, this gives you 4 second mana cycles of 10 in total (natural + id mana)
NOW, cast 2 meteors and any other spell of your liking, youve spent 9 mana. so youre wasting one, which you may accept so it'll replenish your mana pool if you ever mess up and cast 3 meteors or smth. if youre confident in your spell casting consistency, you may switch out the hydro ring for detective's or finesse or something with sp and damage

your build has 14 mana cycles, but ask yourself this: can you really spend it all? since it all comes from 2 items it's quite unavoidable, but if you work out how much mana you use you can buy a shit mr aquarius and have the same effect as a maxed one but also spare money

I get your point, and I replied with something along the lines of this in your original post. I've tried those low mr builds before, and I get that "viable but not satisfying" feeling. It works just fine, but I tend to like just spamming long spell chains constantly without having to reset and wait for mr at all. Although Discharge seems pretty insane for these thunder/water builds.

For my original build tho, swapping out the bracelet with Megabyte help with some of the hp issue and it seems pretty good with water powders.

You can have your mana regeneration while doing a cycle.
so by using something like this: https://wynndata.tk/s/9OfIjS you can have a cycle like:
    (M = meteor, S = ice snake)

14 mr MMSMMSM (all 14 mana spent)
14 mr MSMMSMM (all 14 mana spent)
14 mr SMMSMMS (all 14 mana spent)
    repeat

this way you can effectively use your mana at lots of different mr.
if you take the average spell dps you can get to 18731 dmg/sec this way with my build.
your build can get 8108 dmg/sec with your method (if you use thunder powders)
