I Need Help With Wynnexcavation Site A

I've completed the quest and beaten the boss, but when I go to Excavator Vade to finish the quest, he says,

"Hey, did you get the writing for me? I need the [Ancient Writing]!"

even though I've already given him the Ancient Writing and gone on to beat the boss! If a staff member could reset the quest for me it would be very helpful. My IGN is "kebs_an_laidir". Before someone asks, it's kebs the strong in Scottish Gaelic because the word for mighty is too long to be in a Minecraft IGN.
