Best Powder Specials For Guild Wars?

So I'm using a war build that only has powder slots on the leggings and chestplate, the others don't have slots. When I bought the leggings, they came with two T6 fire powders, so I have endurance. All thats left is the chestplate, and I have no idea what powder to put on it. Which special for armor do you think would help the most in guild wars? im pretty sure the fire powders do nothing since the wand is earth, but just use earth, if youre good you can use def pots and stay at low hp and abuse rage, and get like 25k quakes

 

What do you mean, why wouldn't the fire do anything? If I'm correct, it's based on hits taken, how would having an earth weapon change that?

 

im not 100% sure but i think armor specials only affect their element, like earth only boosts earth, fire for fire, etc

 

Oh... well if so, that kinda sucks. Before I remove the powders, can anyone confirm that to be 100% true?

 

I remember there was a conversation in class_builds about 2-3 days ago about how powders work and one the ct confirmed that powder specials on armor only boost their respective element (endurance boosts fire, kill streak boosts thunder, etc.)

They only affect their given element

 

Courage. All mages/archers in my guild camp together, sharing heals and courage attack bonuses.

Curse - Only targets one mob. Bad
Earthquake - maybe good as warrior/assassin
Chain Lightning - maybe if you are using 2 t6s?
Wind prison - Only targets one mob. Bad

Overall, I'd say courage is best

 

Curse can target multiple mobs though? But it mostly goes for the nearest one so it's kinda.... iffy sometimes

and yeah Courage is best Imo because it does both damage in a decently big circle around you and it also boosts your damage so...
