By upside down VR, do you mean that the display is upside down, or something else?

Suspend yourself upside down from the ceiling of whatever room you're playing in, and also invert the VR display. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll get the super-secret setting that will re-invert the display.

 

But upside down is a secret setting. Edit to say "using Acid Shaders". (yes that's a thing)

I've actually tried playing a bit of Wynncraft in VR (via a Vive + Vivecraft). It works... ok. Not great, not horribly. One of the problems is that casting spells and using items is sort of iffy in VR, and movement is nowhere near as easy to deal with.

Maybe it's gotten better recently, I tried this a year or two ago. I might try it again at some point.

I've tried it on Oculus, and some textures were broken, mainly the weapon textures and some other 3d models. They looked way smaller than they should be, and were rotated incorrectly.

 

I know someone posted a forums thread on playing with vr. I just can't really find it, but it was p cool. Some of the things that I saw that were weird were the weapons, because they are really small and so. Other than that, it seems really cool!
