Strange Phone Calls

Ok, so usually my home doesn't get any phone calls, usually one every four of five weeks, but for some reason, I have absolutely no idea how, most of the time when my mom, dad, or grandma calls that day we usually end up getting at least two other calls from random scammers, and some are even before the family member calls, haven't gotten phone calls for a few weeks, but today my mom called twice, and so did two separate phone scammers! How?!?

EDIT: Also sometimes a family member doesn't even call that day, I just get like 5 phone calls a day from separate scammers, and not to mention the time where I got around twenty calls (presumably all from one scammer company) all within around one and a half weeks!

EDIT (2): HOLY S*** NO, OH MY GOD, ITS THE SAME DAY, AND MY GRANDMA JUST CALLED, MAKING THAT FIVE CALLS IN ONE DAY WTF!

 

Maybe the Indian government is reading your mom's mind so they send scammers when your mom is going to call you.

 

That's rather odd.

Most of the time, I usually mess with them till they hang up.

 

Their random phone number generator might have broken and kept generating your phone number, or your area has a lot of gullible people so they only generate phone numbers For that area code.

Yeah I've unfortunately been dealing with a mass number of scammer calls lately, ranging from "owing" the IRS money to my windows computer has a virus on it even though I'm not even near my computer :/

My parents on the other hand have been dealing with a bunch of chinese robocalls trying to steal bank information; most of them have been affecting New York, but some are starting to pop up in other states here and there.

Because of how often I get these stupid calls, I generally avoid answering any number that I don't know. I'd rather spend my 15 seconds on something else other than listening to someone trying to rob me of my money...
