Def Vs Agl

I’m trying to build a tank mage but I am stumped by this question referring to the “route” I should go:

Which is better to stay alive, Agility or Defence?

 

well theyre technically meant to be equally effective i believe but as a mage probably defence

 

Yeah I'd say defence too for mage.

 

Defense points give you more access to fire-based items, and Agility points do the same for air-based items

 

Defense typically is tankier while agility is glassier but both work fine tho as a tank mage I'd personally go def over agility

 

lets say you are getting hit which will normally oneshot you
if you go for full agi you survive for 4 hits and die the fifth(on average)
if you go full defence you take 1/5 of your health damage, so you can react and heal to survive

 

Agility works for all damages, defence just neutral....
