The last time I played Wynncraft was a little after guilds came out. My guild got into top 10 at like level 30-ish. There was no resource pack, level cap was 75, and I spent countless hours abusing exp glitch on assassin and archer. I stopped playing and now I'm back, a few years later. Already, I have lost my white horse somehow and my weapons can't be identified even though they are "unidentified." I have no weapons for my level 75 characters anymore, so I made a new knight class and decided to level that up. I'm still very confused about the game and have a few questions...

Firstly, are my archer and assassin weapons bugged? I can't identify them since it says that I can only identify them once even though they are unidentified. I was able to identify one of my weapons that had a knockback II enchant, but my main weapon with sharpness II enchant isn't working.

How do people have stacks upon stacks of LE? You used to be hard pressed to find someone with stacks of LE, but now it seems people are trading stacks like it's nothing. Is there some new method of grinding emeralds or something?

Is knight a good class or should I switch to something else? The only reason I chose it was because I wanted to try a reskin on a class that I didn't use to play, and to be honest, the reskin doesn't look all that different...

Is mob grinding still a thing or has it been replaced by quests and dungeons?

How does the enchants on weapons and armor work? I've noticed that people are selling the same item for different prices because they have different enchants or something. Are the enchants rng? What are considered "good" enchants? I've also noticed that you can reidentify items that have already been identified and that it costs more emeralds. What does that even do?

How do I get mythics? Is it just through grinding because I've seen people selling them for stacks and stacks of LE, and I doubt I'll ever get that much...

If anyone can answer any of these questions, that would be great because I'm completely lost in this game and it took a lot just to start playing it again after being unable to play my level 75 characters...

theres a bug with old bobs mythic weapons (you cant identify them) i think, not entirely sure but that might be it
mostly due to inflation, grinding emeralds is more or less still the same
every class is good, none of them are severely underpowered or anything
the spells are different on reskinned classes, so if you didnt play warrior at all you wont notice it (ex bash has dirt blocks for warrior and glowstone for knight)
mob grinding is good but quests give a ton of xp
theres an endgame dungeon (csst, corrupted sandswept tomb) that gives a ton of xp when ran in parties but i wouldnt recommend it because it will probably ruin your experience if its your first class since pre gavel
grinding other dungeons is pretty okay too, gives roughly as much as grinding mobs in a good spot but you get more rewards
    also, dungeons require keys now
items now have identifications that grant different bonuses
theyre rng, and good ids are represented by stars after the id (* is above average, ** is good, *** is max you can get on that item)
reidentifying an item will reroll its ids entirely but the cost is x5 everytime so i wouldnt recommend it at lower levels if you dont have a lot of money
dont even try to grind mythics, drop chance is so low its usually not worth it unless you have rngesus's blessing

id recommend playing with your knight more cause most of the stuff is explained while leveling up (dungeon quests, powders, etc.)

This happened due to multiple updates overlapping while you were gone: Gavel Update unidentified your items, and the Gameplay Update added item reidentifying, which made bought items unidentifiable. What you've got is most likely Bob's weapons, which were bought from the Temple of Legends for a corrupted treasure.

Simple inflation: Money comes in too fast, and doesn't go away fast enough. It piles up, and people start having so high amounts of it, that it loses it's worth.

Due to several dozens of quests being added and revamped, there's barely any grinding in the game compared to before. Although, starting from level 71, people start abusing an easy dungeon for it's high xp gain. (Corrupted sandswept tomb. You'll hear about it sooner or later)

Individual items have predesigned identification types and ranges that you can get. Whenever you identify an item, it'll randomize the stats based on these. What you'd define as "good" identifications are entirely based on your build: Melee or spells? What elements? Any other stats you'd like? Reidentifying sounds like what it is: If you get IDs which you don't like on the first time you identify, you can have another chance in exchange for money

You can find mythics as an extremely rare drop from high level mobs, or you can find them in loot chests. Some mythics can also be exclusive to lootchests etc.

Starting a new class is definitely a good idea, since the game is completely different than what you're used to. Quests are significantly higher quality, there's more of them, the item system has been remade and plenty of new features such as discoveries and 2 whole provinces have been added. Majority of the lag and bugs have also been fixed by our wonderful developer Jpresent.

While the classes are pretty balanced (yes, even mage), I’d go for assasin or archer. Assasin is an awesome class except for the lack of mobility, while Archer only lacks defense. Warrior is fine, it’s just that melee warrior is your best option. I personally don’t like mage due to its low damage and clunky spells.
Almost. There’s a gap between lvl 90 to 95 without any content because they are planning on adding a Molten Heights storyline there (although I wouldn’t count on it being here soon). Though you could easily pass that by doing CSST if you have enough keys or dungeon bombs. Oh yeah, the store got a complete revamp. You can now buy all kinds of different bombs that range from giving the whole server two items to making all of the mobs dance. But anyway, you can rely just on dungeons and quests to level up.
So all armor above the normal tier is unwearable until you identify it (unless if you buy it from a store or dungeon). Unlike Pre-Gavel, you can get only certain IDs from an item, though each ID will vary based on RNG. If you have 1 asterisk by the ID, it means it’s an ok value. Anything that’s two or three asterisks means the value is next to or the maximum value. This only applies to positive IDs though.

I’d recommend going to the patch notes and the update sections. They will be really helpful to understanding what happened, especially with the recent ID rounding change, guild fixes, and tons of other features. I’d also recommend using motoki’s damage calculator and Wynndata. They’ll help you understand the item system more in-depth so you can focus on a build.
Don’t try getting one. There’s a 7 in a million chance a mythic drops from a mob or loot chest. It takes most people months to find one, and some never do. Since they’re endgame, you’ll have to level up your character up to lvl 90 before you can even get in the level range to find one.

Some mythics btw are only found in loot chests, so the best way to find a mythic is to get a good loot bonus set, and then open as many loot chests as you can. You can find some good loot chest run guides on the forums using the search bar or on YouTube.

Sorry this was long, but there’s just so much that happened.

I'm pretty sure it's not per loot chest, but per weapon. So there's a chance there will be a weapon in the chest (or two or three) and for each weapon there's 7 in a million chance.

Well I don't even get a weapon more than half of the time so it's probably worse for me ._.
