So, right now I have a 34 mage and I'm grinding at the abandoned mines. I've been a long time player, since 2013 and i've seen my fair share of ability changes but I still can't figure out how the current mage heal works. On the website it says 40% t1, 35% t2, and 70% t3, but nowhere does it say heal of what. I assumed it was of your health, but thats not it because I had 779 health but my heal only did 160, which is 20%, roughly. If anyone can give me some idea as to how the heal works and how to improve it that'd be great.

The website is outdated compared to recent heal changes. Now heal is based off of your max hp and your water damage %.

    Heya,
there was an update to the heal spell. Before that it was actually true, thats the amount it healed depending on your health. As it was very powerful and basically patched you back up quickly if spammed, the big chunk of healing was removed and a rather constant one was adjusted (influenced with old and new parameters).
    The wiki thus is outdated.

Edit: Ah rip I got snooped

basically rn t2 heal is better than t3 heals
t2 heals 20% all at once but t3 heals 10% in three pulses (plus the water dmg multiplier)

Lv 1 heal returns 15% of your maximum health.
Lv 2 heal returns 20% of your maximum health, and clears negative effects.
Lv 3 heal returns 30% of your maximum health, split into three 10% pulses, and clears negative effects.

You heal allies by a bit more than you heal yourself, and each % of water damage you have(as in ID, the water damage boost from Intelligence doesn't count) increases your heal power by 0.5%. Negative water damage can reduce your heal power. The best boost you can get from positive water damage is at 150%, giving a total 1.75x multiplier, whereas the worst you can get is -100% water damage, with a 0.5x multiplier.

It's not even the wiki, it's on the official website, like on this website it says that.

So, t3 heals more in total, but less in an instant. That makes sense, but I have a lv 100 assassin and from all the cssts, it seemed like all the high tier mages healed at once, does the pulse not apply to allies? Does it heal 30% at once for allies, or just the 10%?

The ally heal is a bit convoluted.

When a Mage heals and there's another player within the vicinity, their maximum healths are averaged. Say the Mage has 5000 health and the other guy has 7000; it would check for 6000 health. Then, after the heal amount has been calculated from this(10% of 6000 is 600) it is increased by 10%, so while the Mage would get 500 health healed, the other guy would get 660 health healed.

Yes, you're referring to the https://wynncraft.com/help pages. They're generally included in the 'wiki' section, but they are somewhat separate too. Yes, both the wiki and help website are out of date. You may have noticed that here:
