Ikr? Matt Pat (besides Mark) is the sole reason why this franchise is still going after its second game. Just let it die already!

Kinda depends. His humor and voice were somehow more cringy before, but his videos were decent. It’s mostly when he got to FNAF and then UnderTale that things really went south. I do like most of his other videos, but some of them feel completely half assed. Remember the Fortnite one where he thought the planet was Venus, even though there was a moon literally in some of the clips he used?

EDIT: Should've watched the video before writing my comment, but if the crying child is the same person who gets scooped in sister location, he's forgetting one very important thing. If the crying child was truly a robot from the beginning, then like the after-math of "Michael" getting scooped, his skin would've decayed along time ago. So either the crying child didn't die to his injuries or the person from sister location is not the crying child.

 

The absurdity of the lore is really going off the deepend. Killer furry animatronics being possessed by the souls of their children victims is one thing, but android children? Come on... Isn’t this supposed to be the 1980s or something too? Where to even begin?

Maybe if Matt and the whole FNAF fandom didn’t take the lore seriously and didn’t do half of the work of making it then maybe I’d just find the absurdity a bit funny. But now it’s just this confusing clusterfuck where Scott purposely eggs them on because figuring out the half-assed lore is the only appeal the game has at this point.

It really isn't a game anymore, its more like the worlds biggest cludeo game. The game has been out for about 5 years now and its still going.

 

Let's be real Scott Cawthon didn't even come up with the lore for his own game he just showed people some weird shit and suddenly FNAF theories.

 

If this keeps going Matt is going to get a raged induced stroke.

Only like 20 minutes after the first video, someone figured out the name. It's Cassidy. All he had to do was put the code in the word search, not those numbers. Lol.

 

In his defense, he did propose that the game took place before Venus turned into a hellish wasteland. The moon could've been swipped away by the sun later down the line.

The real question is, why are they on Venus?

Also, MatPat'a theories feel half-assed becuase they're usually were. This isn't just a small side hobby for him anymore. It's his job. And he has an upload schedule to keep in the views. And to matain that upload schedule, he'll cut corners to the point where he'll miss and over look important data and ends up making very shaky thories that could easily be disapproven.

It would probably help if he did less lore videos and more math videos.

How does that happen? I know there are exoplanets and stuff but still. But that’s beside the point.

But he has a whole team of editors though. I get it that he wants to put a twist on some episodes, but there really should be no reason why some of these mistakes slip through. Hopefully he sticks more to the math episodes too.
