I think a lot of players misunderstood [Featured Wynncraftian] as the [Best Player Award], it's not.

You are not being featured by being the best perfect human being that plays Wynncraft, you get featured (probably) because you have a good story and you have done something interesting and, in a way, impactful. One that may peak other players' interest. I for one never cared about guild dramas and stuff and this whole deal for the better or worse informed me something new.

I'll come out right and say it, is a controversial pick a good choice? in a board sense probably not the best, but I'd like to see more FW given to people that aren't those "generic" "famous" people you see hanging around everywhere. You "Feature" people so more people know about them, if they are already pretty well-known then it lost the point of "Featuring". Anyone remember season 1? Heck, that was so long ago but every episode of season 1 featured someone that done good and interesting stuff for the community that isn't the most obvious even for the most active of community members.

All in all, I undoubtedly think FW can be benefited with more people involving in the selection process, since while it might come as a side job for the CMs its a pretty big deal for the community. I would also like to offer my congrats to Drew1011 for being selected for FW, there is a reason for his selection and the controversy should stop somewhere, but instead, I would advise everyone take this as a good opportunity to rethink what FW truly means.
