When the party is about to let the kleptomaniac go to a mall

 

Kazuki: "I don't see the harm in a little trip to the mall."

I put my coat and hat on, put my weapons where they're supposed to be, etc.

Kazuki: "My the way, Will, if you start stealing stuff and get caught, I'm not defending you."

 

Pinky: "I'll lead the way. Let's go."
She puts all her stuff in her backpack and leaves (and you all follow).

The mall district (NOD.DEG Corp.) is full of skyscrapers and enormous shopping centers and malls. Neon signs and lights cover the buildings and people swarm in and out of them. The large tower in the middle stands tall, hardly visible as it pierces through misty clouds.

 

I continue following Pinky, keeping my robe-and-mask outfit.

 

Billy-Will: "So... the big tower?"

 

"Pinky": "NOD.DEG's headquarters, it seems. Never been inside. Never seen anyone leave it."

 

Billy-Will: "Well, there's a first for everything"

 

"If you have a deathwish, you can try to break in. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it."

 

Billy-Will: "Why is that?"

 

"It's NOD.DEG. They don't leave their bases unguarded."

 

Billy-Will: "What are they guarding from?"

 

"I wouldn't know. They never reveal anything about themselves. The citizens just accept what they're born into and never care enough to question the environment around them."

 

"Let's just shop, yeah?"

 

Kazuki: "Kleptomaniacs?"

 

You all enter through the South entrance and are met with security gates. (Typical theme park/airport gates) Citizens file in one-by-one and others leave with bags of items.
Security guards with suits and sunglasses watch from different angles.
