Can Anyone Help Me?

I started a quest called "The Lost", and received all 5 letters for the 5 lost villagers. I went around giving them all the letters and once I had talked to all five, I returned to the quest giver. I tried turning in the quest but he still said I needed to deliver a letter. I checked my inventory, but there were no letters left over. I tried /fixquests and got none of the letters back. As a final try I went back around to all 5 villagers again to make sure I had completed all the dialogue. I went back to try to turn in the quest again after this and it gave me the same result. If anyone could help me with this problem I'd appreciate it.

 

According to old pinned threads, if you lose ANY of the papers, they can't be retrieved by /fixquests. It is probably the longest-standing bug in the server.

 

This sounds scary

is there a way to prevent this from happening I really want to be able to finish all queste

 

It's pretty rare that this happens, and it's hard to have them glitch out accidentally.
