wha? im sorry i no understan how it hybrid build

 

you do this:
get any item from wynndata that has a stat called "Mana Steal" and "Life Steal", then you find another item with "Mana Regen" *I think*, and then hold right click on the enemies.

 

using spell you hit enemy and it apply poison to poison enemy

 

i still no understan i wan the math and the hard number crunched

 

Spoiler: How to Rant

Okay, learning what a hybrid build is goes all the way back to what building is all about. Though the definition of building is comewhat varied from person to person, like whether changing 1-2 pieces from another 'build' constitutes something new or what archetype like spell spam and tank melee a build is, it can still be drawn back to this: Combining items to achieve a desired result. Identifying those builds within each class as an archetype is also very easy. I'd say there are 5 *main* archetypes for builds accross all classes. They are: spell spam, melee, poison, tier stack, and hybrid. Withing those archetypes you've also got various different subtypes like stealing, def tank, ele tank, glass cannon, survivablity/well-rounded, mythic (arguably its own subtype), and double mythic (definitely its own subtype). Rainbow slap is generally it's own achetype and subtype because they're stupid, so let just ignore them for now.

Hybrids are essentially the following:
(Spell Spam)*(Stealing)
Most spell spam builds can get away with -Mana Steal since they never melee attack, and most stealing builds can get away without much, if any, Mana Regen due to their primary use of melee attacks instead of spells.
Hybrids attempt to bridge the gap between the two by utilizing spells and melee to continuosly gain a low to medium amount of mana, then supplement that with bursts of mana steal when attacking. In turn this allows the player to never stop causing damage by doing the following:

#1 Melee Attacking to gain mana & do damage by
#2 Casting Spells till mana runs dry OR melee attacking comes of cooldown and then
#3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 while avoiding enemies till previously stated enemies are dead.

To create a Hybrid Build you should follow these loose guidelines:

• Mana steal should be around 8 or more.
  • Note: You might have too much mana steal on a spell spam build though, lol. Next bullet helps differentiate.
• Melee damage should be significant.
  • Note: Not DPS. Steal Builds fill their time not swinging with spell casts instead.
• Attack tier is typically below very fast or fast.
  • Note: There are some exceptions to this, like Black.
• Spell damage should be more significant than melee damage.
  • Note: Around 9k+ average on bomb arrow, spins, meteor, and uppercuts. I wrote 9k+ because ideally it should be higher than 10k, but 9k is probably still ''usable".
• Aim for all positive defenses.
  • Note: This goes for most, if not, all builds with the only exceptions being glass cannons. It's okay to have around -75 or higher.

This concludes my 'rant'/guide on "How to make a Hybrid Build".

IMO, that's not enough Mana.

Yea, you've swapped the spell damage as primary damage with melee damage. It's not the same hybrid as the hybrid we're normally accustomed to, but that's a melee hybrid for sure. I think these two groups can best be named as spell-hybrid and melee-hybrid, with spell hybrid being spell oriented with decent melee and good stealing and melee hybrid being melee oriented with decent spells and great stealing, but that's just my suggestion.

 

For clarification, great stealing refers to lots of Mana steal and life steal. Good stealing refers to mostly just Mana steal and some life steal.
