I strongly agree

 

Mage is always nice just because of that glorious self heal. Mage is a bit tough in the early game as it relies so much on its spells but once you get to mid game, it’s smooth sailing! Endgame mage has great mobility, high damage spells, easy builds and probably the best survivability.

Mage. All 4 of it's spells are incredibly OP for different reasons. They can heal, Do massive amounts of damage to groups, teleport around not giving a shit, and freeze enemies so they can't move and can be meteor spammed. The one downside is, it takes massive amounts of damage, but that's only fair since it can heal itself.

 

There is no best class overall.
Mage is the easiest to play (though it’s fucking hard in early game) overall
Archer and Assassin are more fun to play
Warrior is the most “generic” if you’re looking for a generic, ordinary RPG.

I do believe archer has a harder time early game than mage because you have to aim, and not many have the kind of skill to carefully predict enemy movement.
Mage, Assassin and Warrior requires little aiming skill.
Once Mage and Archer unlocks their third spell, the game becomes easy (unless you heretics use melee archer).

Other than that, mostly factual.

 

While I find mage/warrior the most versatile, I find archer/assassin the most fun to use. It really just comes to the players playstyle of which class is best though. I will say though imo in terms of early game I'd rate assassin the best from levels 1-20 because spin attack annihilates everything. Once archer gets bomb arrow though, it just feels like archer is a ranged assassin.

 

I'd go with Assassin. It's got no defense debuffs, its first spell stuns all enemies (including behind), and can solo every boss in the game. Archer is too glassy, mage is too clunky, and warrior just hits way too slow and does not do enough damage unless if you're using tier abuse.

 

Except assassin doesn’t have tissue-paper defense, and it’s nice to have more than one spell that can actually do damage

 

if youre talking in terms of guild wars, assassin > archer > mage > warrior

PvE- Mage because of heal

PvP- Assassin. They can go invisible and just kind of multi-hit you and vanish again. (I've had 2 people rage quit pvp on me)

Guilds- Warrior, They have almost purely offensive spells (Even the 'mobility' spell dose damage). That's nice when you are dealing with 1000 mobs all coming for your butt.

if youre talking about basic apoc warrior sure, warrior is good, but thats as basic as it gets and no one likes it; if youre talking literally any other warrior build, warrior is literally the worst. while the build its self might be good in general, the way the class works makes it bad, for example, bash does too much knockback making it hard to consistantly damage mobs and counter the healing of clerics and bishops. uppercut is the same thing, you fling the mobs way too high that either the mob teleports (because the mobs teleport way too much) and avoid 2/3rds of the damage, or like bash, you don't do enough damage consistantly to counter the mobs that heal themselves and others. people have yet to show me a non-cancer melee warrior build that can reliably do guild wars

I think the best guild war class is honestly assassin, because vanish is good to hide if you need to pot up, spin can stun a ton of mobs at once which makes it so you dont get damaged for a short amount of time, and both multihit and smoke bomb can deal large amounts of damage, as can spin. also the mythics for assassin are just so good, nirv can have high int and mr for spell spam, grim is good for rage and hugh base dmg, inferno can get high dmg, weath is super strong, and cata is arguably the highest dps weapon in the game, nulli is meh and arch doesnt count

 

I think you mean Archer > Literally anything else

Archer is the shit

Fastest travel speed without horse, best mobility overall

Constant speed boost from escape

Highest damage

Easy access to cheese spots on the map and good lootrunning

Low survivability without mana but that's what makes it FUN

High damage, high mobility, the most fun too IMO

 

Except when you hit a lag spike in the middle of a fight.
