[d&d] The Fall Of A City [8/8]

I sit on my heels with my head in my hands as I wait for everyone to wake up.

 

[Long Rest shenanegans have been finished]

I'll wake up and look around for something to eat. Maybe have a quick look outside and see if the aftermath from yesterday is still there.

 

It's cloudy, as usual. Light shines through cracks within the sky's light gray gloom. On the streets, you notice the usual amount of people for this hour, as it's late morning. You can't see much of where you all fought last night from the sushi restaurant's windows, however. Pinky sits at a table, asleep with her face in some book.

 

"Should we wake her?"

 

Yeah ! Long rest ! I get ... Nothing back since Sanik didn't do anything. I love him.

 

Oh, right, from last fight I learned my spell list is bad. I change my prepared spells, but I'm not sure what the change is yet

 

What's so bad about it?

 

Most of my spells are meant for being in melee combat, which meant all I can really do is spam my single fire ray spell (I forget the name) if I want to stay at range

 

Most of the party is long-range, I think. A melee char wouldn't be terrible.

I know that Sanik and Lin' character are melee

 

Mine as well.

 

I mean, in terms of combat I have ranged psionics, debuffs, support, a pistol, and a katana, so...

Perhaps I should've taken Psionic Weapon...

My regular mask forms over my face after I utter some words.

 

Rikane: “Kinda hard to feel tired right after awaking.”
