Why Do New Mythics Sell So High

are they actually better than old mythics or are they just in limited supply

 

they are more recent, meaning there are way less units of said object, therefore they are way more expensive that old ones, because more people have the oldest ones

 

High demand low supply.

 

The trade market has few formulas of item prices that each one can affect it.

1. Rarity of the item.
Some items are hard to get, or with very specific ids, like Fermion. Yet some mythics like Pure and Archangel, are Just not worth much cause of low demand.

2. The demand of the item.
As said in the first one above, demands of items can affect prices as well, like the two mythics that were mentioned before, as well other items like: Dvizer, Spring, Singularity, and more.

3. The stock in the market.
Some mythics only been found several times, makes it harder to find one in the market, which makes the price higher due to demand of the item in the first place, Singualrity for example is really hard to find in the current market due to people that prefer keeping them for self use or ect.
