I know almost nothing about endgame builds and honestly have no idea what’s good. How do I become knowledgeable to make my own builds?

    Like where do I start?

start by looking at well made builds in the class builds section or even requesting your own

    I would say:
    1. Learn how damage is calculated (motoki1 thread, search "wynncraft how damage is calculated" on google)
    2. Check out good builds
    3. Use wynndata to make a build for you and keep editing it until you are happy with it; then ask in discord class builds channel how you can improve it, see what they do and ask why thet did that to learn.

Knowing how damage is calculated will make you understand how to balance the elements of a build to make it better.

Example if you have a thunder damage weapons, most people would put all the skillpoints in thunder, but its actualy better to split them almost evenly between strength and thunder.

Use wynndata (filters help out a lot for finding items with certain qualities).

Also, if you're having trouble on figuring out if an item is any good or not, you can look on the trade market and see its prices and demand. Generally (but not all the time), the higher demand/prices, the better the item is.
