Archer/Hunter Help Highest Dps Thunder Build Help?

I am trying to build the highest thunder DPS without compromising too much hp and defenses. After fighting a few bosses including LI, I realized that I sometimes get one-shotted despite having full hp, so if any modifications nerf defenses, there should be a good increase in DPS in return. I am going for a glassy build, but not too glassy. Assume that I don't have access to a mythic. Also, no negative health regen please.

about powders, using them increases the defense of the element and lowers defense of another that counters it

also yea mostly people use powders to balance out elemental defences (you can find a chart here: https://wynndata.tk/powders/) although if you have excess you can always actually use them for their specials

not the highest but its budget enough and balanced alright in terms of survivability and all that imo
although youd probably get much better builds from other people but i tri lol

 

I'm a pretty terrible build maker (although I try ;-;), but if you want higher DPS and whatever, you really should run LI a few (read: as many times as you need to get probably the entire fusion set and static if you want thunder stuff) times and if you haven't already, complete the Hive. If you really want me to /attempt/ to make you a build, I'll go for it but otherwise I'm sure there's a lot of other people in the community who understand buildmaking a lot better than Ido. Also, do you really care about still being able to use spells or having mana regen? Because if you're going for highest DPS, you might end up using Centipede + Chestplate of Ineptitude (boosts tier attack speed, nullifies any spell damage you may do). Or end up doing a stinger-like build (sniping) where the shots you hit do a ton of damage, but the tier attack speed is slow as heck. (still technically high DPS) Or you could attempt to get your hands on an Az in the meantime; that will help a lot and give you many more options for builds.

 

for more dps you can use discharge but you need to run ff for that and asphyxia but that'll fuck your defs up completely
while glass is cool and all, you can get comparable damages to glass builds without building total glass
especially if you dont have access to divzer, glassing isnt that worth it

10k bomb isnt that pretty weak for thunder well yes but 2k poison it has an effect ok

for anything except air, get your armour powder special first (thunder armour special is prolly the second strongest) and if you have any -defs try fix those

 

Discharge is fallen factory my dude, and that's easy to solo

Sure, glassing may not be the ideal build but it's my play style :)
I'd probably use the first build you posted; high dps while maintaining decent health and defense as well. Although what is your reasoning for using paradox in that build?

only picked it cuz there was third eye to kinda counter -defs to make it easier to use

 

it's the ideal pair of spell boots for the build imo. gives sp for aquamarine while bringing tankiness with the hp and def it has, all while offering a decent amount of spell damage and a mana regen
