Amadel Farming What?

what is armdel farming and why are people ragingagainst it and what in the world makes it Soo good and what drops does it give

it used to be a way to easy way to farm high level drops, especially mythics, but then it was made bannable then it was fixed

 

basically the second form of the boss amadel had a bunch of lvl 100 minions that would drop lvl~100 gear and have a rly high spawn rate but are rly weak so people would sit on a horse with thorns and life steal and would be able to afk farm lots of loot without doing anything

 

it was the time where grinding mobs was actually rewarding for once

 

what do they give and what build should I use for amadel grinding (in mage ik)

 

did you not read any of the comments? they said its bannable

 

Oh ok well is there a other options to get items real quick that is not boring

 

"19. Do not AFK farm or farm boss minions.

AFK farming is using any method to kill mobs while no input is required from the player, and is not allowed to be used to kill any mobs. Boss minions are mobs spawned during boss fights that can sometimes spawn in large numbers. Killing these to farm their drops is not allowed. Killing the minions and collecting their drops while fighting the boss normally is allowed."

So basically in early/mid-2017 word started spreading about how you could easily farm the shadow minion guys Amadel's second form spawns
They had a super high spawnrate and were level 100 so they could drop a lot of high-levelled mythics
There was no rule against it for a while so a decent chunk of the post-game community abused it hard while it was legal
But since it introduced a metric ton of arguably illegitimate mythics using a grinding method that wasn't intended and kinda hurt the mythic economy in the process, a new rule was written to try to prevent future economy damage
As some people have already said earlier this thread, farming boss minions is bannable so you don't want to do it ^
Also Amadel grinding doesn't even work anymore, the minions were set to be level 130 but there aren't any items around that level so they'll only drop loose emeralds and powders now
If you want to grind mobs for items you should try going to either Freezing Heights (in the lower part of Molten Heights) or the turtle spot, or some other endgame-ish grinding spot
