There should be an NPC at the side of the machine. But once you take the ore in the mine, you only have a 30-second window to get it to the machine before it blows up on you. If you succeed, the (stable) corrupted ore will spit out the front of the machine.

I've had the same issue. Just keep right clicking with the ore until it's accepted at the input. I've clicked at the NPC and around it, but have the best luck clicking the opening. I don't think you can drop it because it's a quest item. There were issues with where to click (https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/corrupted-village-quest-cant-insert-the-explosive-ore.212121/).

I also had the same issue. What I did was I went back and did the parkour etc again and put the new ore into the machine (this solved the issue successfully twice). Though you'll still have the old ore on you, one way to solve it would be to go to the bank, store the ore, fill up your inventory with something, click on the ore again (so that it's on your cursor) then exit the window. So, when you exit the window you should be "holding" the ore with the cursor and it should disappear. However, it will come back if you type /fixquests for anything.
