Serious My Somewhat Undeserved Perma Ban

people on vip plaza might have seen that i got a perma ban for ,,Glitching Untradables''
now most people will think that this is deserved but it isnt in a way
in 2015 or 2016 ( i dont remember) ill be honest i abused a bug that would be able to trade untradable items
now i dont remember what exactly i traded but i know i did trade something valuable
funny enough i didnt even use the stuff i traded
after 2 years the wynnteam realized that i got 1 hive item that i should not have (and i didnt even use)
so here is the problem... why a perma ban out of nowhere ? like why not a temp ban or something
i heard from other people that they got banned for the same reason after they abused the bug several years ago

dear wynnteam if im gonna abuse a bug and you respond several years later with a perma ban
that is not how you deal with bug abusers

i will probably get hate for shittalking and how wrong i am but i just wanted to adress that my ban
was somewhat undeserved (also i did get unbanned if any1s asking)
also here is my reaction when i first saw my ban

You should probably message a mod about this, especially the one that banned you....

 

Glitch abuse is and has been against the rules for as long as the rules have existed, so you cannot use time as an excuse for not getting punished. To keep the rules fair, the punishments for rule breakers will always be the same for everyone, and your ban is no exception. The moderators aren't monsters when it comes to bans, so if this was your first time breaking the rules, you can appeal the ban here for a second chance.

 

You may have not deserved that perma ban, but hey, you’re unbanned now right? So let’s just leave the past behind and enjoy the future :)

 

In my opinion, you should appeal if this is your first ban. I don't think you deserve this ban though, since this shouldn't be the way to deal with bug abusers. For example, if I traded some of the untradables (is it even possible right now? If yes then don't tell me, I don't want to get banned) and you give me a perm ban out of nowhere in 2020, that isn't a good thing since you know, I may quit the game at that time or not playing for another reasons...
Banning a person for what he/she did several years ago can't really show the power of the rule because of the reason above, also it may cause confusion since if one abused the glitch, and then quit the game for a year, come back and got banned out of nowhere.... That is the situation above
Anyways I also agree that time isn't an excuse for not getting punished, since you really did something wrong, but I think there is an unban if that is your first ban.
Get unbaned, and then really enjoy what you have in the future, and don't go against the rules.
