[d&d] The Fall Of A City [8/8]

She says this nervously:
"Pinky": "Don't worry about it..
..but the situation is a bit worse than I expected."

"That helicopter you hear, t-that's an Eye."

 

"A what? Gods, all this for some dinner? Actually, wait..."
I turn my attention to the food courts, making my way there.

 

"Pinky": "I mean that's a helicopter belonging to the cult that has the eyes on their masks. We d-don't know their real name so we just call them Eyes."
"Let's hope that they're just out in a helicopter for fun.."

You make your way to the food court, which is locked down for the night. The menu display is still on, and shows mouthwatering meals of all sorts.

 

"Oh, those guys. So it won't be too much of a problem if we have to fight."

I sit down on one of the tables, instructing Daniel to do the same.

"So, 'Pinky', while they are out, do you want to exchange phone numbers?"
She's holding up her phone and smiles.

 

I'll go sidewalk, acting normal.

Kazuki (whispering): "Fine, you can come... But if you draw them to our location, I'm leaving you as bait."

 

I do it, but give a questioning look.

 

I actually adjust my plan, sitting on the ground and leaning against a table while facing them menus.
"Best way to bullshit out of a situation: plead insanity. Just go with the fact that we're roommates, and we've been looking for something to eat pretty much all afternoon. And, we're drunk, or something. Just let me do most of the talking."
I turn to the menus.
"Don' star' fightin' 'less we gotta."
I say, enveloping the character idea I just expressed to you.

 

"How do I explain the rifle, then?"

 

"Can't yew shrink ih?"

 

I fold away the stock and grip and stow it somewhat awkwardly under my coat.

"..."

 

"Gud. Now, le's think about whut we wanna eat."
I look towards the menu, rubbing my hands.
"Keep a gud ear out, yeh?"

 

I lean lazily against the table and watch the entrance.

 

I just study the menu, mumbling to myself.

Kazuki & Rikane: Going to Kazkui's place
Daniel & Tony: Going to Tony's place - currently held up at the monorail station
Everyone else: Still at the shop

 

I go over to Pinky, b/c Billy-Will zoned out for most things involving her

“Hey”

 

Rikane (whispering): "If you must."

 

You both hear a helicopter extremely close to you, but if flys over you and heads towards where Tony and Daniel went.

The helicopter hovers in the streets of Sayon, circling the area.

She's talking nervously on the phone before you climb up to the second floor and down the stairs and gasps when you speak. (She's on the first floor of the restaurant)
"Pinky": "D-don't sneak up on me like that.. please!"
She looks out the window, towards the sky cautiously before sitting against the wall, tired. She tells you her phone number.

She's sitting against the wall on the first floor talking to Toki before you climb up to the second floor and down the stairs.
"H-hi.."
