After so long I've decided to stop going around the problem and picked up colors again.
This time im seriously gonna learn how to color my own stuff.

Here's a little test I did on a sketch I worked on for like 1h

clothing can be had to work on so yeah, wish ya luck with that.

it can be weird with a character being fully nude sooooo, try and play it safe with that kinda of stuff

 

Tasteful, honestly, and tbh you're way too hard on yourself. The shading is rough, yeah, but it feels more like a style rather than a test or practice work
