When Did The War Scream Patch Happen?

I was gone for a break for about 3~4 years and returned a few days ago.
I got interested in warrior and i leveled up to 31.
In my memory, war scream was an aoe spell which knockbacked everything around the spell caster, like a spin attack with greater range and knockback. But it didn't do anything but threw a projectile which is supposed to be an upgrade for lvl 46. I checked the website help page, nothing was changed. I searched the forums, couldn't find any changelog or thread announcing this big change.

Did they really nerf it? when did this happen?

 

It was never supposed to hit things around you, that's why it had the shout effect. I can't give you an exact version number but the change is pretty recent
We did "buff" it by cause it to give extra defense now when I was glitched before

 

I don't think it is an unsupposed mistake.
Who would miss that huge bug for like 4 years? It was totally intended feature to give warriors ability to mass control. But it is not working now, maybe they didn't like the concept and changed their mind? Then why are they not making a single changelog for this big change? This is too confusing for me..

well if you wait 3-4 years its logical something like this happens

 

i tested with a 66+ lvl warrior and his war scream worked well...
It was just a replacement between its base mechanics and its upgrade.
I think warriors get the AoE at 46 or 66.
They did not remove it.
