No. Completely wrong. Bob's aquatic companion was in fact Squiggles the Squid. When he left on his final voyage, Bob actually entrusted both Cluckles and Squiggles to Nohno, who was himself just about to set up his remote lab in Gavel to study the red meteor in. Having no fondness for squid, he left Squiggles in a tank there, where he remains to this day.
