Info An Update On The Mod Team

Hello everyone.

I wanted to give an update on the mod team and some changes that will be coming to it in the near future.

For the past few months I have been not as active as I used to be and there's a reason for that.
I've simply gotten tired of doing this job. I'm not going to get into major details here, but if you want to ask questions about it feel free to.

Now, because of this and my eventual leave I decided to set things up so that I can leave knowing the mod team and the community are in safe hands.
This is why you may have noticed @Pepinho @JuicedBananas and @Salkasm doing things that I would have once done.
This is because they are in training to become the next community managers so that I may step down.

As for their roles it is a little more broken down as I didn't want to give all my responsibility to one person.

@Pepinho will now be taking care of the community aspect of the CM job, such as events,
Twitter, major feedback to help the community grow and make sure it is doing fine.

@JuicedBananas and @Salkasm will be taking over the role of leading the mod team, this means changing rules, making announcements of those changes, mod team affairs (such as if you need to report a mod), and promotions and demotions.

They have been in training for the past two months as of today, and will be for another month or so until they become more comfortable with the positions.

That is pretty much the state of things right now, more news about this will most likely come out once it's finalized. In the meantime, please treat them nicely and as if they were full Community Managers.

 

My plan to overthrow the queen and install a communist regime has finally been realized!

Trying not to be a downer, but are you leaving for good, or just stepping down as CM/Mod? You can elaborate if you want to on the reasons why, but answering the first question is fine with me.

 

Once these three are trained I am going to be leaving Wynncraft for good.
The game is simply not fun for me, and the community tires me now. The events of the Fair and Secret Santa took a huge toll on my motivation to work on Wynncraft and it just became not fun. It felt like I couldn't take a break without something going wrong and it wasn't fun to wake up every morning with messages from people asking for help.
I just got tired of helping people and trying to do something this past year.

 

Well..shit. Look like it's exiting the door time for Pretz.

Proud of you for coordinating your replacement instead of leaving cut and dry randomly. Im also glad your getting a rest after being the most overworked person on this server for a good year or 2.
