Stuck On Craftmas Chaos Quest

I am currently on the corrupted Future Selchar island. Old Tom has sent me to kill Santa, but I have no idea where he is. I have hunted around all the towers like he said, and into most of the caves/valleys, and found no substantial caves. The best thing I found so far is that one of the towers, the timekeeper's one, has a block of red glass at the center, and when you get close, a mysterious force pushes you back. I have hunted around the tower and found no good caves.

So, basically, I have no idea what to do to progress in the quest. All help is appreciated :)

 

So you know how you went down a set of stairs in past Selchar to get to the relic crystal cave? You need to go down those and go into the same cave.

 

It's the same place you go down at the start of the quest.

 

From memory, Old Tom says something along the lines of "Follow the torches to get to Santa". It worked for me.

 

I don't quite remember this. I know the cave you're talking about, but I don't remember how to get to it. The only stairs I know are the main ones that go from the docks to the top of the island.

 

Go back to Old Tom's hideout(avoid falling into the small things that divide the island up). Follow the torches, and you should be alright.
