Guide A Heavily Rampant Problem With Certain Items

Hello, everyone!
As of the time of writing this, there are 2795 items in the game. Wow, that's a lot... of items...
However, that's not what I'm here for! I am here to showcase a crippling IMBALANCE and a MISTAKE in certain items. Why is that?
Let me direct you to a set of uniques.

At first, you will notice the names. Jewel Cutter is, in fact, probably meant to be good against Jewel.
Well, there's an issue!
See the fire damage on Jewel Cutter? Normally, that would be fine, but the helmet Jewel protects against fire.
This is extremely odd, as it means the Jewel is STRONG against the tool literally designed to cut it.
I hope that Selvut personally sees to immideatly fixing these two cripplingly flawed items, especially Jewel itself.

Literally unplayable, Why does such a good server have to be ruined by such a crippling issue

 

Actually kind of weird that it gives + water def and -water damage, and -fire def and +fire damage

 

If any of the item team can see this please fix

 

- air damage, not water

fixed. now it doesn't matter how much fire defence jewel has.

 

why does a helmet based on water has -water defense????

Another problem I see is too much -thunder defense on items water items have it earth items have it, in general, there is too little thunder defense.

 

This happens on water items to try to balance them out, earth items I have no idea. Probably because Thunder is too weak as a whole(not like the defense matters, Cata Spin/Divzer Bomb(maybe) still 1-shots you without -thunder)

 

Pvp should be ignored when discussing balance

 

Ah, sorry about that. To be honest, Thunder mobs kinda seem a bit weak(although I don't see them too often in the world), only hard instance was with the Thunder Hive mobs when I used a water build
