Hp Regen Doesn't Work In Combat

    I know its intended, I'm just wondering why? It feels pretty much useless in it's current state, but if it worked in combat I think it could be pretty fun to try and build around.
    Thats just my 2 cents here, wondering what others think?

    It activates after 5 seconds of not taking damage. Try disengaging for a few seconds or stunning your enemies and it will trigger
    Honestly I've always felt the same tho. Mobs can regen while taking dmg, what makes them special

    Since it looks like you play assassin as your main, you can vanish to gain a full hp regeneration without any risks. (Honestly quite broken since you'll never need potions again)

    If players can regen in combat then it can be abused *cough* afk grinding *cough*.

    Afk grinding is still possible anyway, its just not allowed, the fact that something may make afk grinding "possible" or "easier" isn't a valid reason.


    I definitevely feel the same, even though hpr was recently buffed, it still seems a bit bad, and I think it would be way more used if it was to be buffed like you suggest.

    It definately has nothing to do with how I just finished a build that does about 100dps at level 100 (lol), but has 20k hp and 21k hp regen ;)
    -289ws sucks tho :P

    I agree, hpr shouldn't work like that.
    Wynncraft is weird. When it comes to mechanics, everything that is normal in other RPG games is unheard of here and vice versa.
    Loot system, grinding, defenses, hpr to name a few, all are rather unconvential.

    because you always have enough mana and hp regen will get you to your max in the same time as vanish
    come on you would need a full hp regen build for this to actually work and vanish doesnt even last that long for 5 second heals to actually be equal to using potions

    Of course a combat build won't have enough regeneration to match potions. But something simple such as ivory + heph can heal you up to full hp within 40 seconds. Vanish also costs barely any mana and you can maintain it for 10-15 seconds each time. I'm guessing you haven't tried it before, since vanish really does eliminate the need for potions on assassin.

    while the boss reneged all of its health and its not like this works 100% all the time like you say it does and how much hp do your builds have 7k or something

    I have 11.5k hp and I regenerate between boss stages. For instance, once I kill Cybel stage 4 and it moves onto stage 5, I can take a short break and fully regenerate. The boss won't regenerate any hp at this point in time since it's on a new stage. Additionally, I don't know what you're trying to emphasize by stating that the method will not work 100% fully. Vanish essentially makes you immune to damage for the time period and you can reapetedly cast it; there are no drawbacks or risks to regeneration.

    I have already tested this before with the entirety of Legendary Island, just trust me on this fact regarding regeneration and vanish.

    Building an entire MMORPG within another game with hundreds to thousdands of daily active users and creating an active online scene with similar user counts could also be seen as rather unconventional too. I feel like the position wynncraft is in facilitates out-of-the-box thinking to solve tough problems, rather than straight forward ones. Just recently things have been changing to adress these problems, especially in the game balance. I personally hope that AFK grinding can be stopped AND HPR can become a constant/passive rather than get stopped by, ya know, being in combat. I already stated how I felt about HPR before, but I can't find the thread where that discussion was. Overall I think HPR should be the next stat that needs to change, not that there aren't others, but HPR makes the least sense rn IMO.
