Can't Advance On Quest?

I started playing Wynncraft last week and I am level 29 but recently I saw a quest in the quest book called The Dark Descent. I talked to the person and he told me to explore a house and I went to this weird place. I checked on the wiki and i'm supposed to take the ruby in the eye socket of the skull cave thing, so I did but then I got stuck so i did /kill. When I came back I realized the ruby was missing from my inventory and it wasn't in my enderchest either, and when I tried to take another gem it wouldnt let me

Is this a bug or am I just being blind because I don't know what to do :(

Also I selected guide because I am new to this forum and don't know what else to put there


Edit: I tried it again and it randomly worked so uh problem solved?

 

Next time please use the questions section, you can go to it from the wynncraft section
